Dr. Shi Fay Cheng’s expertise is in general medical and surgical dermatology for both pediatric and adult patients.

Dr. Cheng graduated from Cornell University with Distinction in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry. She participated in the summer internship program at the National Institutes of Health during college. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine in 1990. She then completed an Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center followed by Dermatology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 1996. Since then, she has been in private practice in Atlanta and Colorado until relocating once again to Nashville.

Dr. Cheng is board-certified in Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Board of Dermatology. She has published several articles in national peer-reviewed journals in immunology and dermatology.
